According to Property Academy’s Home Moving Trends Survey 2023, 43% of buyers have recorded that moving close to  “pleasant” neighbours is high on their priority list.  45% want to have amenities nearby and 78% stated that having a garden is a must for them.

The below infographic shows that whilst the BR6 area is significantly less densely populated than Greater London, there is slightly less public green space, almost 50% more residents per restaurant, and a greater percentage of home with an Ofsted outstanding school as their nearest primary school.

So, even if buyers can’t find a property with its own private garden in the BR6 areas, there is still plenty of public green space and access to great transport links.
